What Sets Us Apart
Focused: ATG is devoted exclusively to provide software solutions to Federal and State correctional agencies. Agencies benefit by having a partner that truly understands their needs, delivers solutions that have been specifically designed for their environment and will help improve business practices by sharing their experiences from other similar sized agencies. ATG has an unblemished history of successfully delivering software solutions to large correctional agencies on time and on budget.
Experienced: We are honored that our software solutions have been selected by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Department of Corrections for the states of: California, Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina and Oklahoma, and the Association of State Correctional Administrators (ASCA).
Proven: ATG solutions are the most extensively battle tested products in the market place. They are broadly used in over 230 institutions from Puerto Rico to Honolulu addressing the unique requirements of at least a dozen different government agencies spanning all U.S. time zones while covering inmates in all custody classifications from camps to administrative maximum security installations.
Holistic: ATG is the only partner that has the breadth of products to provide a truly integrated solution. We offer solutions which address all aspects of managing offenders: from case management, to trust accounting and commissary, to electronic health records and pharmacy administration, to inmate telephone and email, to intelligence and investigations, to nutrition and food service. Each system is especially designed to address the unique challenges faced by correctional agencies.
Scalable: The systems are designed to support a very large number of users and our licensing philosophy enables agencies to securely share information with their peers (courts, public safety, etc). The server hardware required to support ATG applications is very modest. For example, a national correctional agency uses a total of 4 Wintel servers to support their centralized deployments of Electronic Health Records and Pharmacy Systems. Each system manages the information of more than 180,000 inmates housed in 126 institutions nationwide while concurrently supporting several thousand users.
Robust: Every system deployed supports 24×7 availability, i.e. full access without maintenance windows. This robustness was tested earlier this year when the Iowa DOC abruptly shut down their entire data center. All ATG systems (Case Management, Electronic Health Records, Pharmacy Administration, Trust Accounting, Food Service, Critical Incident Reporting, and Intelligence Systems) fully operational at the backup data center within 15 minutes with data current to the minute of the shutdown.
Steadfast: Our customers will attest, ATG team members assigned to their projects are very experienced and tend to stay through the life of the contract. This ensures that our team has very thorough knowledge of the customer’s needs and expectations. In addition to being able to relate to new requirements, our team also provides a rich historical perspective.
